Jesus heals you

"He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds" (Psalm 147:3)
Aren't you glad that God is a healer! It doesn't matter what is "broken" in your life today, God's nature is to bring you complete healing. Do you need healing in your body? Your mind? Heart? Finances? Relationships? God is your healer.
Notice what the Psalmist says int he verse: He binds up their wounds. In the natural, if you have a broken arm, it doesn't just heal over night. The doctor makes a cast to hold it in place and protect it. He binds up your wounds.In the spiritual realm, God does the same thing. He raps Himself around your brokenness and protects  the wounded area until it is strong enoough to function properly again.  The Bible says that He is a restorer. That means that when He does a work of healing in our lives, He makes us better than we were before. If you're going through the healing process today, know this: it may take longer than you planned, but God is binding up your wound.He is protecting you and healing yoou. He will bring you out better and stronger than you were before. He will take you to a place of complete healing so that you can live the life of victory He has in store for you.

Saturated in Love

Where God 's love is there is no fear, because God's perfect love drives out fear.
1 John 4:18

We fear rejection, so we follow the crowd. We fear not fitting in, so we take the drugs. For fear of standing out, we wear what everyone else wears. For fear of blending in, we wear what anyone else wears. For fear of sleeping alone. we sleep with anyone. For fear of being not loved, we search for love in all the wrong places. But God flushes those fears. Those saturated in God's love don't sell out to win the love of others. They don't even sell out to win the love of God. Do you think you need to? Do you think, If I cuss less, pray more, drink less, study more.. If I try harder, God will love me more? Sniff  and smell Satan's stench behind those words. We all need improvements, but we don't need to woo God's love. We change because we already have God's love. God's perfect love.

Today, I read this from the book of Max Lucado entitled Grace for the moment. It's a book where in each day there are Inspirational thoughts like this. While I'm reading it, I was struck and so I'm sharing it. While I'm typing it naman, nashock ako kase kanina di ko nabasa yung chapter and verse and to tell you, It's my number kase birthday ko yan. So feeling ko parang God is speaking to me talaga.

Prayer & Fasting Encounter

Fasting is primarily the act of willingly abstaining from some or all fooddrink, or both, for a period of time. An absolute fast is normally defined as abstinence from all food and liquid for a defined period, usually a single day (24 hours), or several days. Other fasts may be only partially restrictive, limiting particular foods or substance.

  • How does fasting help us prepare? By helping us put even our most basic urges and needs into a lower priority than the task at hand, so we can put our whole selves into it.
  • What effects make fasting useful for preparation?
  • Jesus fasted 40 days in the desert. That led to the temptations, the first of which was to use his powers to make food for himself. Since he was in a fast period preparing himself for the ministry and the trial ahead of him, feeding himself would have made the preparation incomplete. The task ahead was way too important. He had to maintain focus on God.

Why People Fast?

  • self-purification;
  • defeating evil spirits which show forth in the desire for material things;
  • a discipline for one's 'evil' bodily (material) nature, to force it to submit to God.
  • a way to become one with the experience of Christ's suffering by way of one's own suffering.
This is usually done on the first month of the year. Fasting is not the same as dieting. Way to differ. People do fasting for many reason. Probably for repentance, obey or seek God, maybe they wanted something so badly that they hardly pray for it by fasting, or to get ready just like what I did. Get ready for the whole year. Pray for the good things I wish to happen on this 2012 by sacrificing those vices or earthly desires which I'm already attached. The more you sacrifice, the more blessings you will receive. I swear! Fasting is really good and it attracts more blessings. I'm here to testify that. During fast, after the gig, I went to my dentist's clinic near Palengke of San fernando(see, Anlayo) but to saw there's no one! I felt terribly disappointed. Who wouldn't? But I also thought of not complaining anymore instead Thank God(this is what I learned from that day on Gig)because there's might be a reason behind *Everything has a purpose*. Finally at home and Booom! Surprise! we have a brand new computer set. THANK GOD! I felt so blessed on my past few days and I'm loving it.

It's Love offering time!

I was able to stood there once again. Last time, nag welcome ako but this time nag Love offering nako. I wasn't expecting this. Biglaan lang. One day before lang kame nainform. Nung nalaman ko na mag L.O ako, syempre nagulat dahil kinabukasan na nga and parang di ako ready. So I have few time to prepare pero nagdadalawang isip pako kung gusto ko ba talaga or kaya ko ba till I prayed to God. I talked to Him and marame akong tanong. If kaya ko nga ba. Kase iba yung welcome sa L.O e. But I realized na in that way I can be able to show Him na ganon ko sya Love coz I know in myself na di ko kaya yun but with His grace makakaya ko. Kase I already stood there and Nakaya ko. With his deliverance! He's my strength.
1st Gig kame and more than 500 ang estimated na youth nun. Kinakabahan ako ng konti pero nung tinawag na yung name ko. Pumanik nako ng stage and center myself in front of many youths. Parang nawala yung kaba ko when I started speaking. By grace, I was able to talked and prayed there for almost 3 minutes. Gosh! Haha. So yun! I love you Lord! thank you for this wonderful day;)

William Colgate made a RIGHT CHOICE

The Right Choice

Genesis 2:1-8
William was sixteen when he left home to make his fortune.  Everything he owned was in a backpack when he headed toward a riverboat.  William's story was simple:  "His father was too poor to care for him and the only trade he knew was soap and candle making."  The Captain of the boat was a Christian and when he heard William's story he counseled him:  "Someone will soon be the leading soap maker in New York.  It can be you as well as anyone else.  Be a good man, give your heart to Christ, pay the Lord all that belongs to Him, make an honest soap . . . and I'm sure you'll be a prosperous and rich man."  William heeded the advice and when he arrived in New York he joined a Church and started working for a soap manufacturer.  In a short time he was part owner of that soap company and later the sole proprietor. He paid his tithes from the beginning and his enterprise prospered so that he dedicated twenty percent to Christ. His prosperity continued so he gave half his income to God.  After becoming wealthy he surrendered his entire salary to the Lord. That's the story of William Colgate, the soap and toothpaste manufacturer that was first to put toothpaste in a tube.  William made the right choice by accepting the captain's advice.

Decisions Shape Destiny
  • Abraham decided to obey God and depart his homeland of Mesopotamia.  Although his earthly life included trials, he governed Paradise in his afterlife for 2000 years, until Christ arrived.  Not a bad decision.
  •  Moses chose to disassociate himself from Pharaoh's household.  Pharaoh's daughter had adopted Moses and historians tell us that Pharaoh had no son.  That meant Moses could have claimed the throne.  Rejecting Pharaoh's household didn't seem to be the right choice.  But you know the rest of the story.  Moses governed Egypt by the power of his staff.  Even the Red Sea submitted to his command.
  • When Joshua readied to attack Jericho Rahab the harlot welcomed Joshua's spies. Fortunately, because she and her family were the only survivors when Jericho was toppled.
  •  The widow of Zarepath chose to feed Elijah her last meal and for the next 1,277 days her meal barrel never expired.
  • Namaan the leper followed the Prophet's advice to dip seven times in the Jordan River and was healed.
  These people discovered that choice positively shaped their destiny.  But Scripture also provides many examples of those making wrong decisions:
  • Adam and Eve wrongly decided to eat forbidden fruit.
  • Moses chose to disobediently strike the rock rather than speak to it and couldn't enter Canaan.
  • David disregarded Joab's counsel and numbered Israel in a manner that violated the Law.
  • Ananias and Sapphira conspired to lie against the Holy Spirit about their financial dealings.  Their hypocrisy cost them their lives.
We must make the right choices because our future depends on it!  Solomon punctuated the urgency when he said, "Buy the truth and do not sell it; get wisdom, discipline and understanding" (PRO 23:23).
